Our 7 Step Process
We'll have your pool remodeled in 10 days..

1. Pull Permits
Pull permits with Flood Control and Water Conservation. Submit Plan Remodel Submittal Form to Dept of Public Health Environmental Health Division.

2. Drain Pool
The first step in getting your pool ready is to let out all the water in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Hydroblasting
Hydroblasting, also known as water jetting, is used to remove the old plaster from the gunite without damaging it.

4. Install VGB Approved Drains
Install VGB-approved AquaStar unblockable channel drain for bottom main drainer and skimmer equalizer lines.

5. Install Tile
Install tile and depth markers (if applicable). Install break & trim tile for pools over five feet deep.

6. Apply Plaster
Apply Plaster, Altima Plaster, or Primera Stone Ivory Mist. Plaster pools will begin to fill immediately. Primera Stone finishes require a polish the next day before filling.

7. Walkthrough
Upon completion a representative will come out and do a walk thru, go over pool care with management and maintenance.
EXISTING POOLS WITH SPLIT DRAIN(S)
For existing pools with slit drains, if the pool is resurfaced, renovated or drained for any reason, the covers/grates will need to be replaced with approved anti-entrapment covers/grates and if the pool has field-built sumps (no manufactured bowl below the cover). A plan approval is required by The Department of Health, even for just replacement covers. Drains replaced by divers will not be approved as a drained pool is required for proper inspection.
EXISTING POOLS WITH SINGLE DRAIN(S)
Beginning January 1, 2009 when a pool is resurfaced, renovated or drained for any reason, the pool must be retrofitted with split drains or unblockable drain and sump. Until the state law comes out, skimmer equalizer lines are treated as a suction outlet.
